Tender Microphones was born out of passion and necessity. I couldn’t find the perfect microphones in Poland, so I decided to create them myself. Solid, carefully designed constructions that have undergone months of testing in real-world field recording conditions.
Barrel One is a set of perfectly matched microphones with identical sensitivity (tested using a reference signal of 94dB at 1kHz) to deliver precise dynamics for the left and right channels right out of the box.
The heart of Barrel One lies in the PUI Audio AOM-5024L-HD-R capsules, designed for Phantom 48V XLR power.

Housing
Specially designed, compact 3D-printed housing made of durable ABS material with excellent mechanical properties and high-temperature resistance (mass production units will feature an even more robust material).

The housing includes a groove with a diameter of 10mm and a width of 5mm, allowing for the attachment of a lapel clip, cable tie, or other mounting options. An additional groove is designed to secure the drawstring of the small Comica CVM-MF1 windscreen (included in the set).
